Welcome back to Whispers of Wellness. This is Part 2 of my Dare to Move series—an invitation to step into something greater. Today, we’re sitting with a powerful companion: fear.
Let’s be clear: fear is not your enemy. It’s not a stop sign. It’s an invitation—an indicator that you are on the edge of something transformative. When I first started talking about retiring, fear nearly choked me. The “what ifs” came fast and loud. But I chose to do it anyway. That’s the essence of courage—not the absence of fear, but moving forward with it beside you.
💥 “Your next level will require you to do it afraid.”
Read that again. Let it sink into your bones.
There’s something you're meant to bring to the world, something that only you can offer. But fear has made you shrink, stop dreaming, question your value. That ends today. Fear doesn’t get the final word.
To help you partner with fear instead of fight it, I created a simple framework: B.R.A.V.E.
🫁 B – Breathe
Regulate your nervous system. Fear can trigger anxiety and racing thoughts. Use breathwork to return to center. I use HeartMath techniques to reset—because when the body is calm, the mind follows.
🧠 R – Remember
Why did this dream choose you? It didn’t land in your heart by accident. Quiet yourself long enough to hear the whisper. The dream is knocking—it’s your turn to answer.
🧍🏾♀️ A – Acknowledge
Say it: “Fear, I see you. But I’m not stopping.”
When you acknowledge fear, you take its power away. You stop hiding and start walking.
👁️ V – Vision
You must see beyond what your physical eyes can take in. Vision means seeing past your limitations, your doubts, your current circumstances. Like Walt Disney, you have to build what you see inside—before anyone else believes it.
🦶🏽 E – Engage
Take one small step. Don’t get overwhelmed by the full picture. Just move. Research. Ask questions. Pray. Take the next right step. Momentum starts small.
